Welcome to the Jungle!

On August 18th, twelve excited students "swung" into my 1st grade room!  We have a school-wide Jungle theme, so we have begun our Learning Safari for 2011-12!  We have already read  "Curious George Flies a Kite", eaten bananas, and played a Curious George math game on the computer.  We have been reviewing the alphabet and our numbers to 12.  I can tell that I have a good "bunch" this year!
